The origin : The fabric
There was a time when there were 2 cycles of seasons, spring/summer and fall/winter. Since globalization, this approach of 2 seasons per year has changed to 52 weeks. The major retailers renew their new stocks in their stores every week.
Those who create a shortage of raw materials and therefore a need filled by new synthetic fibers chemically created.
Fabric is the first step in the life cycle of a product.
Fabrics can be extremely difficult to determine if they are truly sustainable or not. Because some fabrics appear to be sustainable, such as cotton, but may use very large amounts of water in their production, which is not sustainable.
When considering the durability of a fabric, it is not only a question of production and manufacture but also of life after death.
Synthetic fabrics involve a lot of electricity and are made from materials such as oil. Often the workers of these textiles live in poverty. They work in deplorable conditions and are subject to forced labor, miner's work for a few cents an hour ... to ensure a very low price of the product.
Once the garment is manufactured, it is then shipped which again requires fossil fuels such as oil. These garments are known to be harmful to the skin and continue to pollute when washed as micro-particles mix with the water and detergent.
Posie Lingerie is thoughtfully designed, ethically sustainable and handmade in the United Kingdom. Floral embroidery, bamboo silk, metallic finishes, all materials are sustainable and organic taking care of nature.
She also defends the processes related to the use of conscious, traceable and transparent fabrics. The love of nature, the smell of spring and renewal, the softness are found in all Posie lingerie.
Posie meaning little flower is the bohemian chic brand for all determined women, committed and not afraid to accomplish themselves as free women.
Posie, where femininity is strong like mother nature.
This collection is inspired by the hydrangea, which is the Latin name for hydrangea. Hydrangea represents gratitude, grace and beauty. It also evokes abundance because of its generous round shape and lavish number of flowers. Its colors symbolize love, harmony and peace.
Posie also defends the processes related to the use of conscious, traceable and transparent fabrics. The love of nature, the smell of spring and renewal, the softness are found in all Posie lingerie.
The bras, bralettes, panties, bustier or garter belt of the brand are adjustable on 2 or 3 sizes to combine adjustment and durability.
Posie, where femininity is strong like mother nature. Wear more than lingerie, wear a force.
